Xiangxi, Hunan Province is rich in metal resources. It has always been a competitive place for mining, processing and smelting of zinc, manganese, lead and other metals.

About 80000 tons of leaching residue are produced annually in Xiangxi. As there is no harmless treatment process for leaching residue, the accumulated leaching residue has reached 600000 tons over the years. The project can obtain valuable metal slag and stable solid waste treatment raw materials free of charge. It adopts the patent technology of reverse expanding rotary kiln to treat low zinc and tin materials and recover valuable metals. Through the high temperature reduction and volatilization process of wilz method, it can treat 80000t of zinc smelting acid leaching slag and 80000t / a of zinc oxide ore annually. The annual output of zinc oxide and anhydrous sodium sulfite is 50000 tons and 30000 tons respectively. In the future, the base will be built into Hunan solid waste treatment center.
